Welcome to the Balkan Mama Therapy community!
We are a safe and supportive space for Balkan women and mothers who are on their healing journey. Our community is designed to help you transform your life into a happier, healthier, and more authentic one with healthy boundaries and relationships.
We believe that safety and vulnerability are key components of our membership, and we ask all members to follow these guidelines to ensure a safe and non-judgmental space for everyone.
Respect each other's privacy: We ask that you respect each other's privacy and do not share any personal information or stories outside of the community. What is shared in the community stays in the community.
Be kind and compassionate: We ask that you treat each other with kindness and compassion, even if you don't agree with someone's perspective. We are all on a healing journey, and we need each other's support and understanding.
Listen without judgment: We ask that you listen to each other without judgment or criticism. Everyone's healing journey is unique, and we need to create a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and validated.
Be mindful of triggers: We ask that you be mindful of your language and actions and be aware of any potential triggers for other members. If you are unsure if something may be triggering, please ask for consent before sharing.
Respect diversity: We ask that you respect and celebrate the diversity of our community. We welcome members of all ethnicities, religions, and sexual orientations, and we ask that you refrain from making assumptions or stereotypes.
Report any concerns: We ask that you report any concerns or issues to the BMT team as soon as possible. We take all concerns seriously and will work to address them promptly.
We want our community to be a safe and supportive space for everyone, and we believe that these guidelines will help us achieve that. Thank you for being a part of the Balkan Mama Therapy community.
Balkan Mama Therapy Community Guideline Against Discrimination
At Balkan Mama Therapy, we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for all members of our community. Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other personal characteristic is not tolerated within our community.
We believe that the healing journey is an individual one, and each member of our community is valued and respected. Discrimination in any form is a barrier to healing and growth, and we ask all members to follow these guidelines to ensure a safe and non-discriminatory space for everyone.
No nationalism: We ask that you refrain from expressing any nationalistic or discriminatory views that may be offensive or hurtful to other members of the community. We welcome members from all Balkan countries and cultures, and we believe that our diversity enriches our community.
No racism: We ask that you refrain from any language or actions that may be perceived as racist or discriminatory towards any race or ethnicity. We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their race or ethnicity.
No sexism: We ask that you refrain from any language or actions that may be perceived as sexist or discriminatory towards any gender. We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their gender.
No homophobia or transphobia: We ask that you refrain from any language or actions that may be perceived as homophobic or transphobic towards any member of the LGBTQ+ community. We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
No religious discrimination: We ask that you refrain from any language or actions that may be perceived as discriminatory towards any religion or belief system. We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their religious or spiritual beliefs.
No ableism: We ask that you refrain from any language or actions that may be perceived as discriminatory towards any member with a disability or mental health condition. We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their physical or mental abilities.
We understand that discrimination can be subtle and unintentional, but we ask all members to be mindful of their language and actions and to report any concerns or issues to the BMT team as soon as possible. We take all concerns seriously and will work to address them promptly.
Balkan Mama Therapy Community Guideline for Privacy and Safety
At Balkan Mama Therapy, we are committed to creating a safe and supportive space for all members of our community. We understand that privacy is a concern for many of our members, and we take all privacy concerns seriously. However, it is important to note that while we strongly enforce safety measures, we cannot guarantee absolute privacy and safety within an online and application-based space.
We ask all members to follow these guidelines to ensure a safe and respectful space for everyone:
Respect each other's privacy: We ask that you respect each other's privacy and do not share any personal information or stories outside of the community. What is shared in the community stays in the community.
Use caution when sharing personal information: While we encourage members to be vulnerable and authentic in their sharing, we also ask that you use caution when sharing personal information. It is important to be aware of the risks of sharing personal information online, and we encourage all members to protect their privacy and safety.
Report any concerns: We ask that you report any concerns or issues to the BMT team as soon as possible. We take all privacy concerns seriously and will work to address them promptly.
Understand the limitations of online and application-based spaces: While we strive to create a safe and supportive space for all members, it is important to understand the limitations of online and application-based spaces. We cannot guarantee absolute privacy and safety, and we ask all members to be aware of this when sharing personal information or engaging in the community.
Use discretion when posting content: We ask that you use discretion when posting content within the community. It is important to be aware of the potential impact of your words and actions on other members of the community, and to use your judgment when sharing content.
Acknowledge the nature of the community: While Balkan Mama Therapy is led by a psychotherapist, it is not a therapeutic space and does not replace therapy. The community is a supportive environment for learning, growing, and healing. It is important to be aware of this distinction and to seek professional help if needed.
We understand that privacy and safety are important concerns for our members, and we are committed to creating a safe and respectful space for everyone. If you have any concerns or questions about privacy or safety within the community, please do not hesitate to reach out to the BMT team for support and guidance.
If you have any questions or concerns about the community, please feel free to contact us at info@balkanmamatherapy.com. We are here to support you and to ensure a safe and inclusive space for all members.
Thank you for being a part of the Balkan Mama Therapy community, where we strive to support each other on our healing journeys.
